Wu Xing was born of movement, discipline, and flow—an abstract homage to the martial tradition of kung fu. The painting channels the Five Elements: wood rising, fire quickening, earth holding, metal clarifying, water returning. Stroke meets stance; yield becomes strike; circle answers line. In this quiet storm of color, discipline turns to flow and the body remembers—balance in motion, harmony through opposition, the unseen pulse that binds martial art to living art. This commissioned work inhabits both stillness and strength: a meditation on form and transformation.
