Postlude — Studio Abstractions
Painted after completing the movement series, these three studio abstractions are reactions to the full Rite of Spring process—raw energy distilled from the whole cycle rather than any single movement.
The conversation widens. Momentum spreads across a broad span: slashes cross, drifts accumulate, and bursts answer from different quarters. Tension and release share the same surface, with diagonal drives cutting through a dense weave of shorter strokes. It feels like chorus rather than solo—varied voices pushing toward a common surge.
