The circle has chosen; the ordeal begins. The Chosen One hurls herself into the final dance, step upon step, as if every footfall were a stair that rises and then vanishes under her. Limbs fragment and recombine; figures double and slip past one another. Angular planes cut the space; circles mark counts; diagonals drive the body forward and refuse a place to rest. The climax is all stress and break—accents where breath fails—motion turned to fate: ascent without rescue, endurance becoming surrender, a life spent measure by measure in the presence of the elders.
