The Blushing Bride

48" x 36" - 122 x 91.5 cm
oil on Canvas
private collection
On the cusp of vows, a figure turns to light—poised, unguarded, becoming. Anticipation hums in soft contours and measured brushwork; breath held between ritual and selfhood. The body stands as subject—tender yet resolute—inviting a quiet witness to the courage of intimacy and the choice to step into a new name.

Commissioned as a tribute to a bride preparing for her wedding day. The work honours the threshold between personal vulnerability and ceremonial strength.
