The Vocalist

Paula Arciniega is a Mezzo-Soprano living and working in Toronto ON. Originally from Portland OR, Paula began here singing career in San Francisco while earning her Master Degree in opera performance. She has performed with many bay area companies and is currently working in the greater Toronto area. Paula performs a wide variety of musical styles, has a deep passion for performing, and actively pursues opportunities to work in the chamber music, baroque, and contemporary arenas. Paula is also an accomplished visual artist having installed “art-scapes” with several musical organizations and has collaborated with numerous musical colleagues. Paula also has several years of theatre and dance experience.

Paula has 15 years formal ballet training, as well as 2 years of jazz dance experience, and 2 years of Flamenco study. Paula has been studying piano informally for 30+ years.
